Hay, because many of my juniors asked me about DYLA, now I try to remember and explain what kind of event which I participated last year. And I hope it can give you some representation and also spirit to join.
Yeah guys, Danamon Young Leaderhip Program is a Corporate Leadership Learning Program from PT Danamon, tbk. Its held for full 4 days in Danamon Campus University.
The story start..
Someday in an afternoon, suddenly my phone vibrated. And there was a message from Danamon pic that explained that I became the pre-candidate of event. Actually I confused, when I sign up ? Hahaha, it turns out KSE (my scholarship) gave my name to Danamon without my known. But, for you who want to get info when it's recruitment open, you can try by always look around to your university, especially in faculty board. There will information about the DYLA program every year.

I sent my CV and Essay (here my file) ,and luckily I was called by Danamons pic, he informed me that I  selected as one of the candidate of DYLA 2011. I would had 4 days 3 nights workshop with 20 best selected student from several universities around Java island in Danamon Campus University, Ciawi, West Java.

Honestly, I rather doubt to came or not. Because its so closed with my schedule to had presentation in progress meeting for my final project in my campus. And at that time my forecast model for my final project still error, presentation files also my books were not completed,uuuh. Also I remembered that I had promised that in this 7th semester I will focus for study and will not again to join any organization or extra event like before. But I thought, when I can participate awesome opportunities again? And after I read DYLA schedule packs, it seems I can continue my final project task at night. And finally decide to join DYLA, and had flight with Riyan a friend from Chemistry ITS to Jakarta. 

Okay here is some of my activities in there, i copied it from my friend blogs, Vincent, he already describe it clearly and good yeah.. 

Day 1, we gather in Danamon 2nd headquater for HR in Rasuna Said Road, and around 1 pm we move to Danamon Corporate University (DCU) in Ciawi, Bogot. For day 1, just short introduction from Danamon and we do nothing.:P (Just having fun and share talk with other candidates)

Day 2, begin with more comprehensive information about danamon by one of the Manajer, Mr. Mardi till noon then we are divided into 5 groups (SMART) and each groups consisted of 4 people. I got in the fourth group – R (Responsible) consisted of me – Vin Cent UNPAR, Andy WIDYA MANDALA, RURU ITS, and AYU (ting-ting) UI. Start from here, we play as a team to get the best team in DYLA 2011. After lunch, we had out bound (the most interested part in DYLA). There was 6 point places to play in the out bound, we did really enjoyed this part, of course because it was very very fun and interesting. After the out bound, in the evening we got motivation seminar by one of independent Director of Danamon (formerly Director in Unilever), I actually forget his name. He was really very nice people, down to earth with lots of interesting stories of his life. He did really motived us how to became wise leaders. At the night, we had cooking competition and it was also very fun because we must cook for our dinner by ourself.:P

Day 3, begin with morning sport (but I miss this part because of neck pain and of course lazy to wake up in the morning, red: sorry.:P). After that, we shower, breakfast, and went in to the class. We got knowledge Management Class by Mr. Alvin (the owner of KM plus Jakarta). A new concept of how to keep the information spread wisely in the organization. We got the project how to implement the knowledge management in Danamon itself. I also met Mr. Sigit (Senior HR Manajer) in Danamon. He was really a nice person also, he always shared with us some useful information and history during the coffee break, lunch, or dinner.:)

Day 4, As usually morning sport and I missed it again, shower, breakfast, and we got new project again: business simulation. How we can sold our products to customer by limited material and sources of money (we were given only Rp 70.000 to buy the material and we must sell the product with minimal profit Rp 80.000)

So yes. Life is amazing, because it hits you and hugs you within seconds. And in a minute, you learn something big, something new, something eye-opening. Thanks to my team, Vin Cent, Andy, Ruru, and Ayu proud ever sharing any ideas, joke and with work smart we can get the 1st winner.
